100% of the proceeds from a special menu, featuring new dishes and a cocktail, will support the nonprofit partner's mission to promote the understanding and appreciation of art and science in the Greenwich community.

GREENWICH, Conn., Monday, December 6, 2021—During the month of December, MIKU SUSHI (68 Greenwich Avenue) and the Bruce Contemporaries are partnering to raise money and awareness for the Bruce Museum (brucemuseum.org). MIKU's team created new dishes and a festive holiday cocktail that will be available exclusively this month for dining and takeout in addition to the regular lunch and dinner menus. 100% of the proceeds from this special menu will benefit the museum's mission to enrich the lives of all people in the Greenwich community by promoting the understanding and appreciation of art and science.

Items include FISHER DOLLHOUSE $19 (wagyu beef and scallop over the beetroot, topped with sturgeon caviar, served with truffle dressing) inspired by an exhibition featuring a magnificent diorama of ten rooms filled with an eclectic range of historical and contemporary craft, art, and design rendered in miniature, dates: November 7, 2021 - January 21, 2022; RESOLUTE ROLL $28 (king salmon, shiitake mushroom, and asparagus inside, topped with wagyu beef, kombu salt, and mushroom truffle sauce) inspired by an exhibition showcasing an array of significant objects in the Native Nations Collection of the Bruce Museum, dates are November 7, 2021 - January 30, 2022; SEASIDE CENTER $33 (grilled crispy skin branzino on sauteed baby bok choy) inspired by the Seaside Center, a beachside environmental education center located in Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich; and NATURAL CYCLES $15 (probitas white rum, grape juice, lemon juice, rose syrup) inspired by a new ambitious project at the Bruce Museum to re-install permanent science galleries.

“The Bruce Museum and The Bruce Contemporaries are honored to partner with MIKU SUSHI again this year. The funds raised through this initiative will directly impact the Museums ability to continue to engage with the larger community. As Co-Chairs of the Bruce Contemporaries, we are always looking to expand the reach of the group and to engage with a new group of Museum supporters. We have members who grew up in Greenwich and new members who have just moved to the area. Partnering with MIKU in the month of December will allow us to expand that outreach even more,” said Grace Djuranovic and Asya Geller, Bruce Contemporaries Co-Chairs.

MIKU's team has donated over $50,000 to local non-profit organizations since the restaurant opened in April 2019. Sister restaurants, Hinoki, located at 363 Greenwich Avenue, and KUMO Sushi Lounge in Scarsdale, New York are also involved in local community outreach. KUMO SUSHI is currently raising funds for the Loukoumi Foundation (loukoumifoundation.org) to sponsor a treatment room at St. Judes. “Collaborations like this give us the ability to make an impact in the community and beyond,” said MIKU co-owner, K Dong. “Our team enjoys learning about our non-profit partners and sharing that information with our customers. It's been a successful program for us since we launched the campaign in February last year and we're looking to build upon this campaign for 2022 with new ideas”.

MIKU is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and offers takeout, an at-home pop-up experiences and special event catering. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome. Outdoor seating with heaters is available. Gift cards are also available. Please visit the restaurant's website for more information (mikugreenwich.com).
