Sips on the Sound for The Bruce Museum

TThe Bruce Museum hosted “Sips on the Sound,” an intimate reception at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés provided by Fjord’s Fish Market alongside the beach, while proceeds from the evening benefitted the Seaside Center and its programs.

This sold-out event served as the launch of Bruce Contemporaries, a new group of arts and science enthusiasts who are looking for insider access to special events, networking, and education. The Bruce Contemporaries is chaired by Grace Djuranovic and Sips on the Sound was co-chaired by a dynamic group of Museum members, including Katie Fong Biglin and Owen Biglin, Hagar and Julien Chemali, Grace and Marko Djuranovic, Asya and Mike Geller, Erin and Taylor Glasebrook, Olivia and James Langston, and Caity and Matt Lischick. What a way to close out the summer!

Members of the Bruce Contemporaries will be invited to quarterly events throughout the year curated especially for them at the Museum and off-site locations. They hope to build a strong network of individuals who have a passion for art and science, as well as the future of The Bruce.

The Bruce Museum Seaside Center is located in in the Floren Family Environmental Center at Innis Arden Cottage in Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich. During the summer, naturalists offer daily marine-related programs, and year round on the first Sunday of each month, the Bruce Museum hosts family activities and talks by environmental science experts.
