The Art of Collecting

Members of the Bruce Contemporaries kicked off the holiday season with a festive evening on November 21 at a private home in Greenwich. The group enjoyed hearing insights on the art market and collecting from Caitlin Davis, Founder of Warfield Eliot Art Advisory; Aimee Drummey, former CMO, Pace Gallery; and Michael Macauley, Senior International Specialist in Contemporary Art, Sotheby’s New York. Greg Rubin of Horseneck Wine was on hand to discuss The Art of Collecting Wine. Hors d’oeuvres were generously provided by Mike’s Organic in collaboration with Kinney Lane.

The Bruce Contemporaries is a dynamic group of art and science enthusiasts who enjoy insider access to the Bruce Museum – and the exclusive events, educational and networking opportunities the Museum is in a unique position to provide.

Experience Greenwich is a four-day event that provides the Greenwich community and surrounding communities the opportunity to experience new merchants, restaurants, and the community's favorite places.

Bruce ConsTRUCKS Event Kicks Off Next Phase of Expansion

Held on Sunday, September 8, Bruce ConsTRUCKS served as the spirited launch of the public phase of the Campaign for the New Bruce. More than 1,500 Museum and Community members enjoyed a fun afternoon of free, family-oriented activities, including the rare chance to draw on the Museum’s gallery walls prior to the start of renovation work. The occasion also served as an opportunity for Bruce staff and Campaign leaders to thank supporters of the New Bruce and to invite the entire community to join these benefactors in reimagining the Bruce Museum.
