3rd annual Sips on the Sound

“The perfect welcome-back party on the perfect summer evening!

This is how Bruce Contemporaries Committee Co-Chair, Grace Lockhart Djuranovic, described the third annual “Sips on the Sound” soirée on July  22nd, 2021.

And what a beautiful night it was. This year’s Sips on the Sound was the first in-person event held by the Contemporaries since February 2020. After a challenging year, the outdoor party, sold out and attended by seventy-five new and returning Bruce Contemporaries members, was hailed by all as a great success.

“This year’s Sips on the Sound is the beginning of a fantastic year for Contemporaries members,” Bruce Contemporaries Committee Co-Chair Asya Geller added. “Members should watch their inboxes closely for our forthcoming fall and winter season calendar.”

Sips on the Sound is celebrated each year at the Bruce Museum’s Seaside Center in Greenwich Point Park. Proceeds from the gathering and Contemporaries memberships help fund the year-round operations and educational programming offered by the Museum at the Seaside Center. This year, guests enjoyed cocktails on the beach provided by Horseneck Wine and Liquor, and sea-inspired bites from Fjord Catering.

We are grateful to all those who attended!
